RECIPE INGREDIENTS

  • 250 gm i-freeze broccoli
  • ¾  cup onions
  • 2 tablespoon oil
  • 1 sprig curry leaves
  • Green chilli slit
  • ¼ teaspoon cumin / jeera
  • Pinch of mustard
  • 1 teaspoon ginger and garlic paste
  • Teaspoon red chili powder
  • ¾ to 1 teaspoon garam  masala
  • 10  almonds (blanched preferred)
  • Salt  to taste

Cooking Directions

  • 1. Heat oil in a pan , add cumin  and mustard , when they begin to crackle  add, curry leaves and saute for a min.
  • 2. Add onions and fry till they turn translucent
  • 3. Add ginger garlic paste and fry for a min or two
  • 4. Add  i – freeze broccoli , sprinkle salt and fry till for 2 min
  • 5. Add red chilli powder ,garam masala. Mix well and cover and cook for 2 to 3 mins
  • 5. Meanwhile make a paste of the almonds with very little water
  • 6. Pour almond paste and fry for another 2 to 3 mins  or till it  becomes fragrant. Make sure it is cooked by then.
