RECIPE INGREDIENTS
- 250 gm i-freeze broccoli
- ¾ cup onions
- 2 tablespoon oil
- 1 sprig curry leaves
- Green chilli slit
- ¼ teaspoon cumin / jeera
- Pinch of mustard
- 1 teaspoon ginger and garlic paste
- Teaspoon red chili powder
- ¾ to 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 10 almonds (blanched preferred)
- Salt to taste
Cooking Directions
- 1. Heat oil in a pan , add cumin and mustard , when they begin to crackle add, curry leaves and saute for a min.
- 2. Add onions and fry till they turn translucent
- 3. Add ginger garlic paste and fry for a min or two
- 4. Add i – freeze broccoli , sprinkle salt and fry till for 2 min
- 5. Add red chilli powder ,garam masala. Mix well and cover and cook for 2 to 3 mins
- 5. Meanwhile make a paste of the almonds with very little water
- 6. Pour almond paste and fry for another 2 to 3 mins or till it becomes fragrant. Make sure it is cooked by then.
